With lyrics such as “I’m addicted to ya… Need your love like a drug, I’m feening,” alongside the hyper-pop and rap production, the song feels almost like an adrenaline rush. The song begins slowly, with subtle vocals in the background, before gradually speeding up as it progresses. Underscores uses the production as a foundation for Bktherula’s lyricism, building toward an intense bass drop that shifts the rhythm and emphasizes the song’s combination of hyper-pop, rap, and alternative rock. The contrast between Bktherula’s melodic delivery and Underscores’ energetic production allows “ADDICTED2U” to push boundaries, blending two distinct sounds into something truly electrifying.
