mgk and Wiz Khalifa to Headline MGK Day 2026 in Cleveland

MGK Day is returning to Cleveland for a full weekend celebration led by mgk and Wiz Khalifa. Taking place August 7 and 8, the annual city-sanctioned event will bring together music, art, skateboarding, community programming, local vendors, food, and fan experiences across Cleveland.

A Cleveland Celebration Built Around Music, Art, and Community

The 2026 edition of MGK Day will feature the Red Bull Best Trick Contest, the annual Harley-Davidson City Ride, and the MGK Day Art + Community Festival powered by Webull. The festival’s main stage will close with a headlining performance from mgk and Grammy and Golden Globe-nominated artist Wiz Khalifa.

Fans will be able to purchase General Admission tickets, secure a Tailgate Package for early entry beginning at noon, or grab an exclusive MGK Day T-shirt that includes complimentary festival admission. Tickets and additional event information are available through MGKDAY.com.

Friday: Red Bull Best Trick Contest

The weekend begins Friday, August 7, at Crooked River Skatepark. Starting at 5 p.m., skaters will take over the park for an evening centered on technical skill, creativity, and high-energy competition. The event will also include vendors, food trucks, live music, exclusive merchandise, and additional programming.

Saturday: Tailgate, City Ride, and Festival

On Saturday, August 8, the celebration moves to North Coast Yard. The tailgate opens at noon, inviting fans to arrive early, decorate their cars, and gather ahead of the day’s main programming. The Harley-Davidson City Ride will meet at South East Harley-Davidson at 2 p.m., with kickstands up at 3 p.m. before riders make their way toward the festival grounds.

Festival gates at North Coast Yard open at 3 p.m., with the main stage beginning at 6 p.m. The community celebration will feature local vendors, artists, food trucks, merchandise, live performances, and community activations before mgk and Wiz Khalifa close out the night. Fireworks will follow at dusk.

A Mixtape-Era Friendship Comes Full Circle

The hometown performance follows mgk and Wiz Khalifa spending the summer together on the lost americana North American Tour. The pairing also comes after the release of their collaborative mixtape, blog era boyz, a nine-track project that leans into stoner rap, melodic experimentation, and reflective storytelling.

MGK Day has grown into one of Cleveland’s signature summer traditions, centered on creativity, compassion, and community.

From Hometown Tribute to Signature Summer Tradition

MGK Day began as a celebration of mgk’s impact on Cleveland and has evolved into a larger cultural gathering that highlights local artists, organizations, and businesses. The 2026 poster was designed by legendary artist Mike Giant, whose work is closely tied to skateboarding, tattoo culture, and street art.

The event also continues mgk’s broader community work. Through partnerships with the Lost Poets Society and other nonprofit organizations, MGK Day supports underserved youth and families through arts, wellness, and community-focused initiatives.
