Sienna Spiro has released her debut album, Visitor, a sweeping 10-track collection that blends soul, symphonic pop, and emotionally direct songwriting.
Out now through Capitol Records, the album explores impermanence, emotional distance, and the fear of people and relationships disappearing. Spiro presents those ideas through warm orchestration, intimate production, and the commanding vocal performances that have helped establish her as one of Britain’s fastest-rising young artists.
“Great Expectation” Opens the Album’s Next Chapter
Alongside the album, Spiro has released the new single “Great Expectation.” The moody soul-pop track begins with a rainy piano melody before expanding into a full-band arrangement with orchestral flourishes and a soaring chorus.
The song reflects on the comfort and disappointment that can come from holding onto the idea of someone. Spiro has explained that it was inspired by a period in New York when she repeatedly imagined that a person would finally show up for her, even while knowing deep down that they probably never would.
A Debut Built on Scale and Intimacy
Visitor was executive produced by Omer Fedi, with additional contributions from Blake Slatkin, Yakob, Michael Pollack, Larry Gold, and Peter Rotter. Recording sessions took place at Electric Lady Studios in New York, Abbey Road Studios in London, and Valentine Recording Studios in Los Angeles.
The standard edition features 10 songs, while the deluxe version expands the project to 15 tracks with additions including “Maybe,” “Material Lover,” “Autumn Leaves,” “You Stole the Show (revisited),” and an acoustic version of “Die on This Hill.”
Touring Momentum Continues
Spiro will support the album with the sold-out “My House” world tour after a run of major festival appearances including Lollapalooza Chicago, Newport Jazz Festival, Outside Lands, All Things Go, and Austin City Limits. She is also scheduled to return to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on July 13 and appear on Austin City Limits this season.
Visitor and “Great Expectation” are available now on all major streaming platforms, with the official music video also available online.
