Towa Bird is heading back on the road for a North American headline tour in support of her new album, Gentleman. The singer, songwriter, and guitarist will launch the run on September 13 at The Independent in San Francisco before making stops in Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, Montreal, New York, Cambridge, Washington, DC, and Philadelphia.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, June 11 at 10:00 AM local time. Mother Soki will open on all dates.

The tour follows the release of Gentleman, Bird’s critically acclaimed new album via Interscope Records. Produced by Patrick Wimberly, known for his work with MGMT and Blood Orange, the project also features Kathleen Hanna of Bikini Kill. Recorded in Brooklyn and Los Angeles after a year of heavy touring, the album moves away from the tightly structured alt-pop of Bird’s 2024 debut American Hero and leans into a sharper, more atmospheric blend of attitude, guitar-driven energy, and emotional edge.

Bird has continued to build momentum across music, fashion, and live performance. Her latest era has drawn attention from major outlets, with Gentleman highlighted by NPR Music, Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, and more upon release. Her single “Dog” also arrived with an official video featuring Katy O’Brian, further expanding the world around the album.

A half-Filipino, half-English artist who spent much of her childhood between Thailand and London, Towa Bird began playing guitar at age twelve and later cut her teeth performing in Hong Kong before studying at Goldsmiths, University of London. Since her major-label debut with American Hero, she has supported Reneé Rapp on tour across North America and Europe and joined Billie Eilish’s HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR as direct support.
