Valley are back with “Someday,” a reflective new single via Capitol Records and Universal Music Canada. Fresh off the release of “Vending Machine,” the multi JUNO-nominated band use the new track to explore the quiet tension between chasing what comes next and appreciating what is already here.

A Song About the Things We Save for Later

According to the band, “Someday” was inspired by the way people often save meaningful things for a special occasion that never arrives. The good bottle, the favorite outfit, the money, the cologne, and the life we imagine for later can quietly pass by while we wait for the perfect moment.

“There’s an irony in saving something meaningful for ‘later’ while starving yourself of it now.”

The result is a poignant and quietly powerful track about looking back, wondering where the time went, and recognizing that some of life’s most meaningful moments only become clear in hindsight. It touches on people who drift in and out of our lives, memories that change with time, and the small experiences that shape who we become.
