Riding High After Major Milestones

The tour announcement arrives during a standout stretch for Big Boogie. On October 31, two of his biggest tracks—“Pop Out” (2021) and “BOP” featuring GloRilla (2024)—were both certified Platinum by the RIAA. That same day, he dropped Pain on Paper 4, a project that earned strong praise from outlets such as VIBE, NPR, and HipHopDX, the latter calling him “one of the game’s most electrifying voices.”

Queen Key will join Boogie on tour as supporting act.

Pain on Paper 4: A Heavyweight Release

The 15-track album showcases Big Boogie’s full range. It mixes gritty street storytelling, club-ready bangers, motivational records, and introspective cuts—all delivered with his signature booming delivery.

DJ Drama appears across several tracks, including the hard-hitting single “Back Da F**k Up,” which has already racked up over 2.6 million views on its music video. Lil Jon and YKNIECE turn up the energy further on “Show Out,” a record built for late nights and loud speakers.

Notably, Big Boogie also carries much of the project on his own. Songs like “Take Her Down” and “Toot It Up” have quickly become fan favorites. “Toot It Up,” an interpolation of Trap Starz Clik’s 2007 Southern classic “Get It Big,” updates the iconic hook and pays homage to modern rap powerhouses Latto, Megan Thee Stallion, and Sexyy Red. The Source called the track “an energetic anthem set to ignite clubs and social media,” while Billboard featured it in Fresh Picks. Highsnobiety highlighted it as another standout in Boogie’s growing catalog of hits.

A Steady Rise Toward Legacy Status

Big Boogie’s current moment is years in the making. In 2023, he dropped ETHER—featuring 42 Dugg, YTB Fatt, Moneybagg Yo, and Lakeyah—and followed it with the DJ Drama-helmed REDRUM Wizard, which housed the Platinum single “BOP.” That track helped land Boogie his first nationally televised performance when he and GloRilla hit the stage at the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards.

His journey goes even further back to early mixtapes like 2017’s Definition of Pain. In 2018, his breakout “Let Me Know” caught the attention of Yo Gotti, who signed him to CMG. Since then, he’s delivered multiple projects, including his Final Nightmare EP and his 2021 album Underrated, which has surpassed 200 million streams.
