Josiah Queen Returns With Fan-Chosen New Single “sundays”
Josiah Queen has returned with “sundays,” a fan-chosen new single that calls for a faith reaching far beyond church walls. The high-energy track arrives just days after the platinum-selling singer/songwriter announced his upcoming studio album, Damascus Road, due October 23.

A Fan-Chosen Return
Before releasing “sundays,” Queen invited his fans to help choose his next single, putting the decision directly in the hands of the growing community that has helped drive his momentum over the past year.
Produced by John Michael Howell, the song opens with an intimate sense of dependence on God before growing into a forceful folk-rock anthem. The track frames faith as something that must be lived daily, not reserved for one day of the week.
Damascus Road Arrives in October
“sundays” offers a glimpse into Damascus Road, Queen’s third studio album and the follow-up to 2025’s chart-topping Mt. Zion. The project features 14 faith-filled tracks and is set for release on October 23.

Damascus Road, Josiah Queen’s third studio album, arrives October 23.
In keeping with his commitment to serving the global Christian community, Queen will donate 100% of net proceeds from CD editions of Damascus Road sold through his official website to Global Christian Relief.
A Monumental Season
The release arrives during a major run for Queen, who recently earned seven nominations for the 2026 GMA Dove Awards, including Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year. Recent highlights include “demons,” “Dusty Bibles,” “Can’t Steal My Joy,” and his breakthrough single “The Prodigal.”
Mt. Zion Tour Heads Overseas
Queen will head overseas next month for the U.K./European leg of the Mt. Zion Tour, following a sold-out U.S. trek. The run begins September 14 in Belfast, with upcoming stops including Manchester, London, Paris, and more.
