Just Jayne are back with “White Picket Fence,” a new single that questions the picture-perfect future people are often taught to chase. The track is the latest offering from the Nashville-based country trio’s debut Jayne EP, due August 14 via The Core Records, and arrives alongside an official lyric video.

On “White Picket Fence,” Taylor Edwards, Jillian Steele, and Rachel Wiggins bring crystal-clear harmonies and sister-like chemistry to a song about growing beyond the life script you once thought you wanted. The single captures the moment when adulthood becomes less about following expectations and more about deciding what happiness actually means for yourself.

That balance of sharp storytelling, polished hooks, and deeply relatable perspective has quickly become a signature for the all-female country trio. “White Picket Fence” leans into that identity while widening the emotional world around their forthcoming EP.

The World of Jayne

The upcoming Jayne EP introduces the creative world the trio has been building together. At the center is Jayne, a character formed from pieces of their own names and shaped by their shared experiences as writers, artists, and friends.

Although Edwards, Steele, and Wiggins grew up in different places, from Georgia and New York to California and Arkansas, they found themselves pulled toward the same heartbreaks, dreams, friendships, and coming-of-age truths. Across seven tracks, Jayne becomes the best friend, the big sister, the girl you look up to, and the girl still figuring it out.

“White Picket Fence” captures the moment when growing up starts to look less like following a script and more like defining happiness for yourself.

The seven-track EP includes “White Picket Fence,” “Love A Loser,” “What’s His Name?,” “Bad Day,” “Climate Change,” “Death & Taxes,” and “Emergency Contact.” Together, the songs move from quick-witted kiss-offs to reflections on friendship, identity, heartbreak, and finding your own way forward.

A Breakout Year for the Nashville Trio

The EP arrives during a breakout stretch for Just Jayne. The trio were recently featured on Taste of Country’s “RISERS: 2026 Artists to Watch” roundup, with the outlet highlighting their three-part harmonies. They also made their international debut at C2C Festival in London earlier this year and have continued building momentum with dates supporting Nate Smith, plus festival appearances including CMA Fest and LASSO Montréal.

Tour Dates Ahead

Just Jayne’s upcoming dates include stops in Colorado, Montréal, Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, Sacramento, Pickering, Rama, and Windsor, with several shows supporting Ashley Cooke and Josh Ross.
