Laci Kaye Booth and Lukas Nelson Team Up on “The Illusion Of Love”
Laci Kaye Booth has shared “The Illusion Of Love,” a new collaboration with GRAMMY winner Lukas Nelson. The languid, Tex-Mex flavored track is out now via Lost Highway Records and will appear on Booth’s upcoming album, Love Ain’t For The Faint Of Heart, arriving September 18.

A Song Written From a Place of Feeling Lost
Booth says she wrote “The Illusion Of Love” during a period when she felt lost, later realizing she was dealing with mold poisoning. Produced by Ben West and written with West and Nelson, the final record leans into the feeling of illusion that sits at the center of the song.
A New Album and Fall Tour Ahead
The single previews Love Ain’t For The Faint Of Heart, Booth’s third album and first for Lost Highway Records. She will celebrate the album with a U.S. headline tour that includes Desert 5 Spot in Brooklyn on October 2 and Los Angeles on October 15, along with supporting dates for Brad Paisley and Ella Langley.

Lukas Nelson Adds His Voice to the Moment
Nelson enters the collaboration during an active fall run of his own, with dates alongside Zach Top and Tedeschi Trucks Band, plus a special co-headline run with Molly Tuttle. His GRAMMY-nominated album American Romance, produced by Shooter Jennings, arrived last fall.

Listen to “The Illusion Of Love” and pre-order or pre-save Love Ain’t For The Faint Of Heart before its September 18 release.
