Laci Kaye Booth Drops New Single “Pathetic” Ahead of New Album

A Vulnerable New Single

“Pathetic” finds Booth leaning into a deceptively silky sound while revealing her innermost thoughts during a moment of doubt. She wrote the track with Ben West and Melissa Peirce, with West also producing Love Ain’t For The Faint Of Heart and her 2024 album The Loneliest Girl In The World.

Booth describes the song as one of her most vulnerable releases, rooted in late-night questions about faith, love, and emotional pain. The track follows “Ethereal Redneck Shit,” which she performed during CMA Fest at Nissan Stadium’s Platform Stage and Spotify House.

Love Ain’t For The Faint Of Heart Arrives This Fall

Set for release on September 18, Love Ain’t For The Faint Of Heart marks Booth’s third album and her first for Lost Highway Records. The LP is described as a cinematic ride through diverse sounds, hard reckonings, and serious growth, capturing an artist stepping into a renewed and more grounded chapter.

Pathetic represents my most vulnerable moments.

On the Road With Ella Langley

Booth, named one of Spotify’s Artists to Watch for 2026 and part of CMT’s Next Women of Country, will support Ella Langley on select dates beginning July 23. Her itinerary also includes a two-night run at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on October 13 and 14.

The 2026 dates include stops in Baltimore, Cary, North Charleston, Gilford, Green Bay, North Little Rock, Knoxville, Columbus, Tulsa, Lubbock, Los Angeles, and more, with select appearances supporting Ella Langley and Brad Paisley.

A Country Storyteller in Full Bloom

Raised in Livingston, Texas and based in Nashville, Booth has built her sound around raw country storytelling, dream-pop textures, and lush songwriting. Her 2024 album The Loneliest Girl In The World expanded her sound and helped open doors to tours with Ella Langley, Parker McCollum, Megan Moroney, Marcus King Band, and more.

With “Pathetic,” Laci Kaye Booth continues shaping the emotional world of Love Ain’t For The Faint Of Heart, offering another glimpse at an album built on vulnerability, growth, and the kind of honesty that cuts through cleanly.
