When it comes to epic game launches, this one literally took things to new heights. To celebrate the arrival of Ninja Gaiden 4, Team NINJA lit up the Miami night sky with a stunt no one saw coming: two helicopters, one massive LED screen, live gameplay, and a soundtrack from a chart-topping artist.

The spectacle wasn’t just for show—it officially set a Guinness World Records title for the largest video game display ever flown by helicopter.
A Launch You Could See from the Ground
Two helicopters soared over the Miami skyline. One carried a 26-foot-wide LED screen. The other carried Emmanuel Rodriguez (aka “Master,” Team NINJA’s community manager) and diamond-certified recording artist Swae Lee.
As the glowing city stretched below, Yakumo of the Raven ninja clan burst into action on the screen, taking on enemies mid-flight. Every slash and grapple played out against snippets of Swae Lee’s brand-new unreleased record, “Flammable.”
Inspired by In-Game Lore
The sky-high theme wasn’t random. It was inspired by Ninja Gaiden 4’s world — where survivors of Tokyo’s toxic floods built skyward into a vertical metropolis. That same sense of danger and elevation became the blueprint for the launch.
Cutting-Edge Tech Meets Pure Nerve
To make it all happen, advanced broadcast tech streamed live gameplay from Emmanuel’s helicopter to the screen in the other, built by aerial media innovators HELI-D. One mistimed move could’ve ended the mission, but Yakumo’s aerial battle went off flawlessly — lighting up the night with every clash.
More Than a Launch
This wasn’t just a game reveal — it was a statement. Ninja Gaiden 4 is about precision, skill, and fearlessly pushing limits. From the skyscrapers in the game to the Miami skyline, the event blurred the line between virtual worlds and real ones.
Ninja Gaiden 4 launches October 21 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, Xbox Cloud, Xbox Play Anywhere, Steam, and PlayStation 5. It’s available day one with Xbox Game Pass.
Deluxe Edition: Includes “The Two Masters” DLC, character & weapon skins, and in-game items.
Pre-Order Bonus: Get the Dark Dragon Descendent Yakumo skin at launch.
Meet Swae Lee
If the voice behind “Flammable” sounded familiar, that’s because Swae Lee is one of modern music’s most influential hitmakers. Known as one half of Rae Sremmurd, Swae’s vocals power tracks like Unforgettable with French Montana and the record-breaking, 2x Diamond-certified Sunflower with Post Malone.
His pen game is legendary too — he’s written for icons like Beyoncé on Formation — and his genre-bending sound continues to push boundaries.
A Night to Remember
The ninja rose, the sky lit up, and Miami got a launch event unlike anything the gaming world has ever seen. If this is how Ninja Gaiden 4 kicks off, just imagine what’s waiting once you pick up the controller.
