Detroit’s own 42 Dugg is back with PART 3, his new 10-track mixtape released today via CMG Records / 4PF / Interscope Records. The project marks another steady step forward for one of rap’s most consistent voices, blending Dugg’s unmistakable Detroit realism with high-profile collaborations and renewed momentum as he continues to expand his catalog.

The title PART 3 doubles as a riddle for fans. Is it the next chapter in Dugg’s 11241 Wayburn series, or Young & Turnt Part 3? Dugg leaves the answer intentionally open, letting it reveal itself through the sequencing, storytelling, and energy of the tape. Across the project, he moves fluidly between hardened perspective and raw ambition, reflecting both where he’s been and where he’s headed.
The mixtape features a balance of familiar collaborators and fresh linkups. It includes the recent single “IDB,” which arrived alongside an official music video capturing Dugg in his element—celebrating with his team through club appearances, jewelry shopping, hotel-room moments, and luxury backdrops, including twin white Rolls-Royces. The visual underscores the lifestyle and mindset that continue to shape his music.
Beyond its street anthems, PART 3 shows Dugg operating in multiple modes. The focus track “Thick One” featuring Skilla Baby is a high-energy, club-ready banger built for late nights, while “Fake Friends” takes a more introspective turn, with Dugg addressing disloyalty and distancing himself from performative relationships. On “We Not Done,” he reinforces the project’s harder edge, making it clear that he and his camp are still pressing forward without easing up.
The tape also boasts standout moments like “IT IS WHAT IT IS” featuring Lil Baby and Rylo Rodriguez—a major collaboration that highlights Dugg’s ability to hold his own alongside top-tier peers with clarity and conviction. Additional appearances from EST Gee, G Herbo, Skilla Baby, and GloRilla broaden the project’s reach while keeping its Detroit foundation firmly intact.
PART 3 arrives on the heels of a strong year for Dugg, who recently wrapped a 20-city tour supporting his debut album 4eva Us, Neva Them. With this new release, 42 Dugg continues to build momentum through consistency rather than spectacle—delivering sharp records, trusted collaborations, and letting the music speak for itself.
