Detroit’s own 42 Dugg is back with the third installment of his fan-favorite series, It Get Deeper Pt. 3. The track, featuring Doughboy Clay, is out now via CMG Records/4PF/Interscope Records — and it’s everything fans have been waiting for. Stream it here.
A Look Into Dugg’s World
On It Get Deeper Pt. 3, Dugg opens up about the realities of street life while reflecting on his rise in the rap game. Doughboy Clay brings his own energy to the record, pairing perfectly with Dugg’s raw delivery.
The release also comes with a new Paradice Media–directed video, giving fans a glimpse into Dugg’s life on the move. From hooping on the court to turning up at events, the visuals highlight both the grind and the rewards of his journey.
Continuing the Story
This track extends the It Get Deeper narrative Dugg started in 2020, further solidifying why the series has become a staple for fans who crave his unfiltered storytelling. It also follows his single We Not Done, which showcased Dugg living it up in Detroit with ATVs, dirt bikes, and club energy.
Building Momentum
Dugg’s new release comes on the heels of a major run. Earlier this year, he wrapped a 20-city tour in support of his debut album 4eva Us, Neva Them, which includes collaborations with Lil Baby, Meek Mill, Sexyy Red, Jeezy, EST Gee, Rylo Rodriguez, and Blac Youngsta. With standout tracks like Fresh From The Feds and Go Again Pt 2, the album gave listeners an intimate look at the 29-year-old rapper’s world.
He’s also been putting on for his city. After selling out Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena for his “Welcome Home” concert, Dugg recently returned for a Memorial Day Weekend show alongside Lucki, YK Niece, Drego & Beno, and more.
