42 Dugg keeps his momentum rolling with the release of “Thick One (Remix),” bringing in fellow Detroit standouts Skilla Baby and Kash Doll for a hometown-heavy update to the original record.

The remix builds on the track’s infectious energy while highlighting the chemistry between three of Detroit’s most recognizable voices.

Detroit Energy Takes Center Stage

Built around catchy hooks and unapologetic bars, “Thick One (Remix)” leans into the trio’s larger-than-life presence. 42 Dugg sets the tone with his signature punchlines and charismatic delivery, bringing the effortless swagger that has become central to his sound.

Skilla Baby keeps the pace high with a chant-ready hook before sliding into his own slick flexes. Kash Doll adds another layer of confidence, stepping in with the sharp delivery and bossed-up energy that have made her one of Detroit’s most influential voices.

A Big Moment for 42 Dugg

The release arrives during a major season for 42 Dugg, who is also celebrating the five-year anniversary of his breakthrough project Free Dem Boyz.

Since its release, Free Dem Boyz has become a defining body of work in modern street rap. Standout records like “Maybach” featuring Future, “4 Da Gang” with Roddy Ricch, and “Bestfriends” helped elevate Dugg into rap’s top tier while strengthening his reputation as one of the genre’s most distinct voices.

4 The Trenches Tour Is on the Way

Along with the remix and anniversary celebration, 42 Dugg is preparing to hit the road with fellow Detroit star Babyface Ray for the newly announced 4 THE TRENCHES TOUR.

The nationwide run kicks off May 30 in Cincinnati and will bring the pair to cities across the country, including New York, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Charlotte, and Detroit.

A Consistent Voice in Modern Rap

Over the past several years, 42 Dugg has emerged as one of rap’s most recognizable voices, known for his unmistakable cadence, melodic street records, and collaborations with artists including Lil Baby, Future, Roddy Ricch, and EST Gee.

With “Thick One (Remix),” he continues that run while putting Detroit’s chemistry and confidence on full display.
