South Carolina-born singer/songwriter Brandon Wisham is ringing in the holiday season with a fiery new cover of the Christmas classic “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town.” His version — out now — brings fresh energy to the nearly 100-year-old favorite, blending his soulful country-rock style with holiday cheer.

Produced by Matt Geroux (Just Jayne, Josh Ross), the track pops with bright piano, driving rhythms, and even a blistering guitar solo at the bridge. Wisham also tips his hat to Bruce Springsteen’s legendary 1975 live performance, closing the song with a playful “Jingle Bells” riff. It’s the perfect addition to any holiday party playlist.

A Breakout Year for Wisham

“Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town” follows last month’s release of his modern country drinking anthem “Whiskey’s Whisperin’.” It’s the latest showcase of Wisham’s powerhouse vocals and undeniable stage presence, which have quickly established him as one of country’s most exciting new voices.

In 2025, Wisham has built an impressive catalog, including:

  • “Back Together” — his Southern rock debut hailed as a “stunning showcase of his raw, unfiltered artistry” (All Country News)

  • “Growin’ Up” — a heartfelt coming-of-age anthem

  • “She’s Good” — an emotionally charged country-rock banger

  • “Better Than The Day” — his breakout SiriusXM The Highway feature, which named him a “Highway Find”

And the momentum doesn’t stop there. Wisham is set to make his Stagecoach debut in 2026, sharing the bill with Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, and Bailey Zimmerman — his past collaborator and tourmate.

On the Road Now

Fans can also catch Wisham live. He’s currently touring with Austin Snell, will soon join Lakeview for a nationwide run, and then head north for select Canadian dates with Nate Smith. Known for his electric performances, Wisham continues to win over crowds with his mix of raw storytelling and high-octane energy.

About Brandon Wisham

At just 22, Brandon Wisham has already carved out a powerful presence in country music. Raised in Williamston, South Carolina, the youngest of seven kids, he started out playing cover shows at just 15. His first song, “Pain Won’t Last” — written at 19 after losing his father to Covid — landed him a global publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music and The Core Entertainment.

From there, his career has taken off: touring with Bailey Zimmerman, Josh Ross, and Chase Matthew, making his CMA Fest debut, and dropping a string of singles that balance gritty country-rock with reflective storytelling. With each release, Wisham proves he’s not just another newcomer — he’s a force of nature set to shape the next wave of country music.
