A Different Side of Wisham

Following the high-energy release of “She’s Good”, Wisham is showing another layer of his artistry with this bittersweet drinking anthem. “It’s unlike anything we’ve done so far,” he shares. “It’s more authentic to me—kind of like mixing Bieber with Luke Combs to bring some R&B (Rhythm & Boots) vibes into country.”

The result? A track that’s both heartfelt and vibey, balancing slick grooves with soaring guitars, courtesy of producer Nate Miles (known for his work with Bailey Zimmerman and Nightly).

The Story Behind the Song

Written by Wisham, Miles, Andrew Stoelzing, and Zachary Knowles, “Whiskey’s Whisperin’” tackles familiar territory: heartbreak and the blurry comfort of a late-night bar. Lyrics like “Every round goin’ down / Is another round of you” capture the ache, but Wisham cleverly spins it with humor in the chorus—finding solace in the idea that whiskey is whispering sweet lies: “Tequila’s tellin’ me we’re through… When the whiskey’s whisperin’ you miss me too.”

It’s a clever twist that feels destined to be sung back in bars everywhere.

Building Momentum

At just 22, Wisham has already made big waves. His earlier singles—“Back Together”, “Better Than The Day”, “Growin’ Up”, and “She’s Good”—have earned spins on SiriusXM The Highway and recognition as a Highway Find artist. He also made his CMA Fest debut this year and has shared stages with Tyler Hubbard, Josh Ross, and Chase Matthew.

This fall, fans can catch him on the road with Austin Snell, Lakeview, and Nate Smith, proving his momentum is only growing stronger.

About Brandon Wisham

Hailing from South Carolina, Wisham grew up the youngest of seven kids, first picking up the guitar as a child. By 15, he was already playing bars, and at 19, he penned his first song—“Pain Won’t Last”, inspired by the loss of his father to Covid. That track not only landed him a global publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music and The Core Entertainment but also appeared on Bailey Zimmerman’s platinum album Religiously. The Album.

Since then, he’s built a reputation for blending raw storytelling with a hopeful spirit—qualities that shine brightly in “Whiskey’s Whisperin’”.
