Country trio Deltona are back with their second single, “Love Don’t Love Me,” a straight-shooting anthem for anyone who’s ever been burned by love. Fueled by their rowdy country-rock sound, the track is already shaping up to be a late-summer, windows-down kind of banger.

The Song

Produced by Jason Massey (Bailey Zimmerman, Kelsea Ballerini), “Love Don’t Love Me” turns heartbreak into a high-energy singalong. Co-written with Massey and hitmaker Allison Veltz-Cruz (Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean), the track mixes gritty riffs, banjo accents, and piano flourishes into a driving country-rock groove.

Frontman Ned Abernathy sets the tone with unfiltered honesty:

“I get a heart in my hands and I let it fall out…Meet the girl, meet the momma, and I let ‘em both down.”

It all builds into a bittersweet yet defiant chorus that perfectly captures the band’s mix of swagger and self-awareness.

The Video

Directed by Kate Bowling, the video finds Deltona letting loose at Lucky’s 3 Star Bar in Nashville. Expect plenty of barroom antics — pool-cue air guitars, whiskey shots, and a camaraderie that mirrors the band’s free-spirited sound. It’s a clip that matches the track’s energy beat for beat.

Who Is Deltona?

Though they hail from three different states — Abernathy (Georgia), Chris Deaton (Tennessee), and Caleb Miller (Ohio) — the trio first clicked at a writers’ round at Nashville’s legendary Bluebird Café. Bonding over country tradition and a desire to turn it up loud, they began writing together and quickly earned a fanbase by posting covers and originals online. In just six months, they’ve built nearly 14,000 TikTok followers and growing.

On the Road

Already making a name for themselves live, Deltona have opened for rising stars George Birge and Cooper Alan. Tonight, they’ll take the stage at The Green at Harrisons in Oxford, MS, followed by an acoustic set supporting Avery Anna in Searcy, AR. Looking ahead, they’ll join country legend Rodney Atkins at the Benton Civic Center (Benton, IL) on October 24.

What’s Next

With two strong singles under their belt (“Heartbreak Fix” and now “Love Don’t Love Me”), a fast-growing fanbase, and a reputation as an electrifying live act, Deltona are proving they’re one of country’s freshest new voices. And as the band themselves put it: “We’re just getting started.”
