The rising Nashville-based trio, made up of vocalist Ned Abernathy, guitarist Caleb Miller, and drummer Chris Deaton, have released their rowdy new single “Party’s In The Back,” along with an accompanying visualizer. The track is a high-energy country-rock anthem that celebrates rural freedom, backroad nights, bonfires, homemade shine, and the kind of good time that does not need a VIP section.

Written by DELTONA and Paul Sikes, whose credits include Lainey Wilson and Cody Johnson, and produced by Jason Massey, known for his work with Cole Swindell and Kelsea Ballerini, “Party’s In The Back” finds the band leaning even harder into their Southern rock edge. The song pushes back against big-city status culture and paints a picture of a night where the fun is not about how much money you spend, but how fully you live in the moment.

Musically, the track hits with heavy guitars, pounding drums, banjo, mandolin, dobro, and a hard-stomping chorus made to be shouted live. Abernathy’s laid-back but gritty vocal delivery gives the song its personality, while Miller and Deaton help drive the track with the kind of musicianship that has quickly become part of DELTONA’s identity. The song also features dobro work from seven-time Academy of Country Music Award nominee Justin Schipper, adding even more firepower to the band’s sound.

The visualizer matches the energy of the record, using a collage-style mix of live-show moments and band footage. It also highlights one of DELTONA’s biggest rallying cries: “BRING BACK COUNTRY BANDS.”

“Party’s In The Back” follows DELTONA’s fall ballad “Cared Enough to Cry” and continues the momentum they built with previous singles like “Heartbreak Fix,” “How To Not Help A Heartbreak,” and “Love Don’t Love Me.” Since debuting last summer, the trio has carved out a lane with lived-in storytelling, full-throttle country-rock production, and songs built for tailgates, heartbreaks, and rowdy nights out.

The band recently performed at Country Thunder Arizona, where they earned praise for bringing “headliner energy,” and they are now gearing up for upcoming dates supporting Lee Brice and Jordan Davis. They have also shared stages with Rodney Atkins, George Birge, Cooper Alan, and Avery Anna.

Although DELTONA’s members come from different places, Abernathy from Georgia, Deaton from Tennessee, and Miller from Ohio, the trio found their chemistry in Nashville after meeting at a writers’ round at the legendary Bluebird Café. Since then, they have built a fast-growing fanbase, including more than 45,000 followers on TikTok in under a year.

With “Party’s In The Back,” DELTONA sound ready to keep proving their point: country bands are not just back, they are bringing the party with them.
