Lewis Capaldi Drops Surprise Live From North America EP After Wrapping His Biggest Tour Yet

Lewis Capaldi is keeping the momentum going with the surprise release of his new Live From North America EP, a four-song collection recorded during his recent North American tour.
The project arrives less than 48 hours after the tour wrapped, capturing standout moments from what Capaldi described as the “best tour” of his life. Along with streaming, the EP is also available for physical pre-order, including a T-shirt bundle and a limited-edition vinyl release available for only 72 hours.
“Had the best tour of my life in North America and felt like I wanted to commemorate it somehow,” Capaldi shared. “Took some live recordings from some of my favourite shows and wanted to get them out for those of you that couldn’t be there.”
The EP opens with “Pointless (2026 Version),” recorded during Capaldi’s biggest U.S. headlining show to date at Madison Square Garden in New York. The updated version gives the 2022 ballad a more rugged live feel, swapping the original piano-and-strings arrangement for distorted guitar and a full-band arena-rock build.
Capaldi also includes his tender new single “Stay Love,” recorded during his two-night run at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. From there, the EP moves into “Hollywood (2026 Version),” recorded fittingly at the Hollywood Bowl, before closing with “Forget Me,” captured during a massive sing-along at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.
The release comes as Capaldi prepares to take his tour to Europe this summer, including his biggest UK shows yet: two sold-out nights at BST Hyde Park. Each show can hold up to 65,000 attendees, with support from Conan Gray, Jacob Alon, Absolutely, The Vaccines, and more.
The live EP also follows the recent release of Capaldi’s Survive Deluxe EP, which added “Stay Love” to a project that already included “Survive,” “Something In The Heavens,” “Almost,” and “The Day That I Die.” The title track became the UK’s fastest-selling single of 2025 and marked Capaldi’s sixth No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart.
After stepping away from the spotlight, Capaldi’s return has become one of the most meaningful chapters of his career. His comeback reached a major emotional high point with a celebrated Glastonbury performance, and with Live From North America, he gives fans another snapshot of that renewed energy on stage.
