Good Neighbours Lean Into a Raw New Era With “Mary Jane”

Good Neighbours are back with “Mary Jane,” a new single out now via Polydor Records. The release follows “Superstar” and pushes the UK duo, Oli Fox and Scott Verrill, further into the rawer, more energetic sound they have been teasing this era.

A Second Chapter After “Superstar”

Where “Superstar” captured the rush of catching feelings, “Mary Jane” trades that high for something more captivating and unresolved. The band describes the song as a step toward a new sound and a continuation of the narrative they started with “Superstar.”

The Video Brings the Awkward Charm to Life

Directed by Harv Pearson, the “Mary Jane” video follows a boy trying to win over a girl at a house party through an awkward but unexpectedly impressive dance, with performance moments from Oli and Scott woven throughout.

Festival Dates and a Fast-Rising Story

Good Neighbours continue their festival run with dates including Parklive Jozi Festival in Johannesburg and Oceanway Festival in Santa Monica. Since forming in late 2023, the duo has built major momentum behind their debut album Blue Sky Mentality, which has amassed over 1.4 billion combined global streams.

Watch and listen to “Mary Jane” as Good Neighbours continue building a bold new chapter.
