18-year-old rising star LeoStayTrill is closing out the year with a major statement. His new EP, Last Quarter, is officially out—and it’s his most revealing and musically adventurous project yet. Known for his Afro-Drill roots, Leo uses this project to stretch beyond familiar territory and tap into deeper themes, sharper storytelling, and new sonic textures.

The EP opens with “Intro,” a reflective moment where Leo pulls back the curtain on adulthood, fears, ambitions, and the weight of expectation. That emotional honesty carries into “Jah Knows,” where he calls out the people who try to capitalize on pain while pushing through it himself.

But the centerpiece of the EP is the new single “Patience” featuring French breakout artist R2. The track is a motivational anthem about staying laser-focused on your goals and tuning out distractions. It’s introspective without losing its intensity—Leo’s melodic delivery blending seamlessly with R2’s energy, fresh off two Top 20 hits in France.

“Patience” follows the success of “Diamonds,” a slower-tempo track that showcased Leo’s versatility and proved he can excel across genres, not just the ones fans already know him for.

Leo explains the EP best:“Last Quarter is a reflection of what I’ve done this year but also a preview of what’s to come. All the people that said I had potential 2-3 years ago, this EP is for them—to show that they’re about to win off their bets.”

A Fast-Rising Name With Global Ambition

Leo’s had a whirlwind year. His debut EP Home Alone, released in May, sparked huge fan engagement and earned him co-signs from heavyweights like Dave and Ed Sheeran. With a sound shaped by global influences but rooted in his South London identity, Leo has quickly built an audience that stretches far beyond the UK.

Before Home Alone, Leo was already heating up the scene through massive moments like “Hands on Knees” with K-Trap—amassing over 6 million teaser views and thousands of video recreations. His momentum only grew from there, performing to a massive crowd at Our Homecoming Fest in Nigeria and selling out shows in Manchester, Birmingham, and London on his first-ever headline tour.

With 2.1M followers across Instagram and TikTok, Leo’s digital footprint matches the scale of his breakout success. He’s already a 2x MOBO nominee (Best Newcomer & Song of the Year), earned over 100 million Spotify streams, and even landed a support slot for Asake at the O2 Arena.

A Career Moving at Light Speed

In just 18 months, LeoStayTrill has evolved from a promising South London newcomer into one of the most talked-about artists of his generation. His second-ever single “Honeybun” has surpassed 6 million streams, a testament to his sharp pen and unique blend of flows. Meanwhile, “Pink Lemonade” went viral across social media last summer, pushing him firmly into global breakthrough territory.

His collaborative streak is equally impressive, teaming up with 163Margs (“Cardi”), ArrDee (“Demure”), and dropping the fan-favorite freestyle “Lost in Sardinia.” This year he added another standout moment with Tion Wayne and MJ Cole on the sleeper hit “Crazy Love.”

If Last Quarter proves anything, it’s that LeoStayTrill isn’t slowing down. He’s sharpening his craft, widening his reach, and stepping confidently into the next era of his rise—one that looks like it’s only just beginning.
