Nine Inch Nails are hitting the road again. The band just announced the second North American leg of their Peel It Back Tour, produced by Live Nation, kicking off February 5, 2026 in New Orleans at the Smoothie King Center. The run will stop in major cities including Washington, DC, Montreal, Austin, Las Vegas, and San Francisco before wrapping on March 16 in Sacramento, CA. Longtime friend and collaborator Boys Noize will be joining them on all dates.

A Tour That’s Already Redefining Live Shows
The Peel It Back Tour first launched in Europe this past June, selling out shows across Dublin, London, Paris, Madrid, and beyond. The band then brought the spectacle stateside, packing venues across the U.S. with multiple nights in Brooklyn, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
So far, the numbers speak for themselves: more than 450,000 fans across two continents, rave reviews from critics, and a production that fans describe as part-concert, part-cinematic event.
The Times called it “a thrilling onslaught that combined angst, sincerity and a nightmarish otherworldliness.”
UPROXX described it as “a triumph of sound, obviously, but also sight. It could have been a movie, and Nine Inch Nails were the stars.”
Consequence praised the “multi-sensory spectacle,” while NME highlighted the stacked setlist of hits and rarities.
Tickets for the new dates go on sale Wednesday, October 8 at 12pm local time at nin.com.

Beyond the Tour: TRON: Ares and More
Nine Inch Nails have been busy outside of touring, too. Last month, they dropped the TRON: Ares (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) via Interscope Records. The album debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200 and topped several genre charts, including Soundtrack, Vinyl, Current Alternative, and Current Electronic.
Unlike their award-winning orchestral scores, TRON: Ares is pure Nine Inch Nails—distorted synths, pulsing electronics, and haunting textures, with no orchestra in sight. It’s as menacing as it is mesmerizing. The film itself, TRON: Ares, hits theaters October 10, 2025, with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross serving as Executive Producers.
Lead single “As Alive As You Need Me To Be” has already been hailed by The New York Times as a return to NIN’s buzz-bomb synth and gut-punch vocal era. The track also gave the band a rare distinction: top 10 hits across four decades on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart.
Future Ruins Festival
Adding to the excitement, Reznor and Ross are curating their own one-day festival, Future Ruins, on November 8, 2025, at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. The event will celebrate visionary composers in modern cinema and TV, with live performances across three stages—including orchestral sets. For the first time ever, the duo will perform their own score work live. Tickets are available now at FutureRuins.com.
A Legacy Still Growing
Since forming in 1988, Nine Inch Nails have redefined modern music by blending industrial, electronic, rock, and ambient sounds. They’ve won two GRAMMYs, sold millions of albums, and were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2020.
With their groundbreaking live shows, cinematic scores, and a brand-new era unfolding, Peel It Back is more than just a tour—it’s a reminder of why Nine Inch Nails remain one of music’s most innovative forces.
