Sam Smith Releases Fifth Studio Album Hazel Eyes
Sam Smith is back with Hazel Eyes, their fifth studio album, out now on Capitol Records. The project turns a real-time love story into a meditation on what it means to live with an unguarded heart, with Smith embracing co-production for the first time.

A New Chapter Built Around Queer Love and Radical Sincerity
Hazel Eyes finds Smith working with a close circle of collaborators across a sound that moves through baroque pop, British folk, outlaw country, and left-field R&B. The album follows 2023’s Gloria and arrives after Smith moved from England to New York City while navigating a period of love, change, and creative renewal.

“Constant Companion” Leads the Moment
The release is paired with new single “Constant Companion,” a cinematic ride-or-die love story built around dusky guitar work, sweeping strings, and Smith’s low-slung vocals. The official video, filmed in Spain by director Albert Moya with choreography by (LA)HORDE, follows Smith and a lover through dusty plains and frontier outposts.
To Be Free Residencies Continue
Hazel Eyes arrives as Smith continues their intimate To Be Free residency series, which heads through Mexico and the UK with dates including Manchester’s Albert Hall and eight nights at the London Coliseum.
