Sammy Virji has officially leveled up. The UK garage innovator just dropped his second album, Same Day Cleaning, via Astralwerks—and it’s already cementing his status as one of the most exciting names in dance music.

A Year of Momentum
2025 has been nothing short of huge for Virji. From drawing massive crowds at Coachella and Forest Hill Stadium in New York, to back-to-back sets with Four Tet and appearances at festivals like Lightning in a Bottle, Outside Lands, and Reading & Leeds, his global takeover has been undeniable.
Along the way, he’s kept fans fed with heaters: the Skepta collab “Cops & Robbers” (now past 11M streams), the nostalgic groove with Issey Cross, and the Chris Lake team-up “925.”
The Album
Same Day Cleaning is a 16-track ride through UKG, grime, and house, with an all-star lineup of collaborators.
Highlights include:
“One For The Books” ft. Giggs
“Doctor” ft. MJ Cole
“Up & Down” with pioneers Tuff Jam
“Match My Mood” ft. Spice & Flowdan
“925” with Chris Lake
“Cops & Robbers” with Skepta
Plus appearances from Unknown T, Champion, IRAH, salute, 33 Below, and Issey Cross
It’s a record that bridges old-school UK club culture with the new generation, equal parts underground and global.
What’s Next
Back home, Virji’s gearing up for his biggest shows yet: two sold-out nights at London’s Alexandra Palace on April 17 and 18. With 10,000 people packing in each night, it’s set to be a milestone for the genre and for Virji’s career.
Why Sammy Virji Matters
In just a few years, Virji has gone from viral DJ Mag sets to international stages, with tracks charting across the UK and even New Zealand. Gold certifications, festival takeovers, and heavyweight collaborations have turned him into one of the key figures pushing UK garage forward. And the best part? He’s doing it all with his signature energy and grin behind the decks.
