Sienna Spiro has officially unveiled the long-awaited music video for her breakout single “Die On This Hill,” and it’s every bit as devastating and powerful as fans hoped. Premiering today on Lyrical Lemonade, the stark black-and-white visual marks a milestone moment — it’s the first time founder Cole Bennett has directed a video for a female pop solo artist, and the first such release to live on Lyrical Lemonade’s tastemaking YouTube channel.
The minimalist video strips away spectacle to spotlight the raw emotional core of the song, which SIENNA has described as “about stubborn love — the kind that makes you stay when you know you should leave.” Set inside a sparsely furnished room, she performs opposite a life-sized burlap figure — singing to it, slow-dancing with it — before the illusion unravels. As the track reaches its devastating finale, SIENNA is left on the floor amid torn fabric and cotton stuffing, a haunting metaphor for love emptied of substance.
Reflecting on the experience, SIENNA shared, “Making new friends is always special, but getting to work with them is a privilege. Bringing this video to life taught me so much. I am so grateful for the love that this song has been shown so far and to get to work with such an incredible artist in Cole, who I also can call a friend.”
Bennett echoed the sentiment, praising SIENNA as a rare talent. After hearing “Die On This Hill” ahead of its release and allowing their friendship to grow organically, he said the collaboration felt natural — even if it pushed him into unfamiliar territory. “I had never really done a video for a pop artist like this,” he explained. “I was a bit nervous, but the excitement outweighed that. I’m incredibly thankful to have gotten to work with SIENNA.”
The video arrives as “Die On This Hill” continues its remarkable global run. The song currently sits at #9 on Spotify’s Global Top 10, making SIENNA one of just three UK artists in that bracket — alongside RAYE and Olivia Dean — and the only one yet to release a debut album. With more than 200 million global streams, the ballad has surged to #21 on the Billboard Hot 100, while her earlier single “You Stole The Show” trails closely behind at #63, surpassing 125 million streams worldwide.
Beyond streaming success, “Die On This Hill” has become a live performance phenomenon. Earlier this month, SIENNA delivered a spellbinding rendition on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that earned a standing ovation and left the host visibly stunned. She has also performed the song on Later… with Jools Holland and TODAY, in addition to a six-night run opening for Sam Smith’s historic To Be Free: New York City residency in late 2025.
Fans will soon have the chance to experience that magic up close. SIENNA’s forthcoming The Visitor Tour sold out within seconds, prompting additional dates for her first-ever North American headline run. The tour launches March 3 at the Troubadour in West Hollywood and wraps with back-to-back nights at New York’s Bowery Ballroom on March 17 and 18 before heading to the UK and Europe.
As 2026 begins, SIENNA’s momentum shows no signs of slowing. She has been shortlisted for the BRIT Awards’ prestigious Critics’ Choice for 2026 — joining a lineage that includes Adele, Dua Lipa, James Blake, Lewis Capaldi, and Sam Smith — and was named to Vevo DSCVR’s Artists to Watch list. Additional recognition from Billboard, Stereogum, Pigeons & Planes, HypeBae, and L’Officiel, along with a recent cover feature for Notion Magazine, has cemented her as one of the year’s most compelling new voices.
Still, what’s most astonishing is that SIENNA is just 20 years old. Drawing early inspiration from Frank Ocean, Etta James, Frank Sinatra, and Amy Winehouse, she began writing songs at age 10 and gradually blended jazz influences with a modern, cinematic sensibility — a sound first showcased on her 2025 debut EP SINK NOW, SWIM LATER. Since then, she’s performed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, toured with Teddy Swims, appeared on COLORSxSTUDIOS, and continued refining an artistic world that feels both intimate and expansive.
With a new project on the horizon, SIENNA SPIRO is evolving in real time — exploring love, femininity, and adulthood with a voice that feels far beyond her years, and inviting listeners to grow alongside her.
